Many garage and gate remote systems are not very secure.

They just lift the gate up anyway. Don't think a thieves in SA will muck about a remote except if it's to jam a car lock signal.

That is why you want the crypto remotes. I have been saying it for years.

That article is incorrect. Do not get the 'french' code or rolling code remotes either.

Most people never change the remote system type in their houses.
