How to block Robocalls on your mobile phone

Why does the National opt-out database need to know every single detail about me?
I don't trust this...

EDIT: OK I see most is optional... my bad.

Truecaller ftw!

Agreed. It's the best.

Only problem with blocking spam on truecaller is that lets say for example you require FNB to call you back based on a query you had, truecaller identifies it as spam an blocks the call automatically although you require to speak to FNB. So now I don't block spam but just look at the caller ID and don't answer.

But definitely truecaller FTW

Don't use the database for South Africa during install. Create you own database as you block calls.

That works just fine for me!

Truecaller has probably given me a few years' extra life, by me still being able to see these bastards, even though they pull the usual tricks of getting a new sim for their dialer. By the time they get to me, they are deeply spam tagged.
Love it!
