Cell C is giving away R600 million in prizes from 1 October

Exactly. Wouldn't be surprised if the operator makes a profit from this "competition".
 
You have to be on the MegaBonus tarrif for this competition - which is R1.50 per minute to call anyone. I prefer my 99c/m and getting nice data/voice/sms bonuses when I recharge.
 
R5 million in real prizes. R595 million in bonus "airtime".
 
Last year was awesome though, Cell C Believe had me winning every week. Didn't have to buy airtime for 7 months after that.

I'm still using airtime that I won from that competition, but the fact that I've got to buy airtime and be on the MegaBonus tariff is BS.
 
I just PM'd the Cell C rep. I'm on Redbull Mobile prepaid, and can't change tariffs to Megabonus. I want to have a go at this. Crossing fingers that I can port to Cell C hassle-free.
