Move over Linux – Kaspersky launches new operating system

New OS to run switch.

Move over Cisco/HP/Juniper because Linux runs on the most switches.... Massive news!
 
why not say move over centos or junos. junos also built from scratch..

can i install it on a pc box with a multi port nic ?? diy switch?
 
Refreshing to see an OS built for security, especially after the Equation Group leaks. This is probably backdoored by every major state actor, but good to see nonetheless.

well yes you are completely correct.. i just meant its not linux and its a network based OS built from the bottom up. instead of over other architecture..

It's really no different to any of the other bsds on the surface, they're anal about things like code auditing for example. I ran it on my laptop for a while & I'm thinking of trying it out again in the near future to see how it handles as a desktop os compared to arch linux.
