Yes, to show how much we care, let us PLAN maintenance for month-end when everybody is trying to reach the amount of data they paid for and when there are major problems in any event!

We can do it of course we are TELSCUM! and do not give a hoot about customers!
 
I'm trying to use an online rates calculator for the USPS to estimate how much some shipping is going to cots me; the %%^^% thing just keeps on timing out on me. Dialup would in all honesty be better --- except that I don't have a dialup account. Lovely, thanks TELKOM, you make me long for dialup. W@ankers.
 
Have seen quite a few complaints from Cape Town users last night... this is one of the network notices I saw and can remember seeing a few more (will look later), which could explain what happened last night.

Internet working in Plumstead but no dial tone on phone.
 
The Internet is up and down.
Still no dial tone.
Have booked a fault.
 
I lost dial tone for a short period earlier today (Meadowridge, Cape Town), just long enough to report a fault, then it came back up again. I guess Telkom was doing some work somewhere.
