Microsoft Edge gets pwned, Google Chrome is “unhackable”

One attempt was made to attack Chrome, but the team failed to expose the browser in the allotted time.

... where's that other thread

How does this fit in with the unhackable angle?

Firefox only need to push out an update as soon as it's ready. Edge needs to push out a whole Windows update. Probably a CU aswell.

Really? They can push out a priority small patch that gets downloaded in the background and installed without the user even noticing.

Not sure what you are crying about :wtf:

the people had a choice of what to attempt.

before everything started, they knew of things that they could exploit as they have researched this.
no one attempting the worlds most popular browser, tells you more than the fact that one group tried and failed.

You will most likely need to restart aswell. Microsoft needs to treat Edge as an app otherwise they'll continue to lag.

I have not needed to restart my computer after an update for a long time. This is not the 90s any more. I would rather have one update service that keeps all my applications up to date in the background than having to open each app for it to go and check for an update.

But hey, if you are heart-set on hating Windows then there is nothing anyone can say to change your mind

You're just talking out your ass constantly now, none critical sub system level components do not need a restart. Its gotten to the point of even kernel hot loading. Only when there are very big updates that effect multiple sub systems is a restart required, also not entirely sure why thats an issue. My laptop and desktops start up within under 15 seconds.

Just had a restart today and it took 15 minutes. Had to go to reddit to see other people had to wait also. Someone even up to one hour.
