www.rits.co.za ?

I bought a Bluetooth mouse on Saturday to test the waters. I'll let you know if and when I receive it

Bought from them over a year ago, no drama. Even smart people there that are willing to check on a certain spec/find out from their supplier on items.. in my case if the laptop had backlit keyboard as there were multiple configs in the same shell with and without backlit keyboard

Why do people set up websites and don't bother sorting out the info pages...really shows lack of effort at the least

Like the useless esquire online shop, which I was told 4 years ago that its busy being updated

The couriers just dropped off the mouse! :)

So what was it - bluetooth or wireless disguised as bluetooth?

"BLUETOOTH"

I just ordered a bluetooth mouse. Couriers dropped it off today. Was wireless, not bluetooth. Complained. Was told 'it is blutooth, it comes with a dongle'.

Was sent this:
http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-x4000-wireless-mouse-with-laser-sensor-p-a0x35aa-aba--1

While the ad online describes this:
http://www8.hp.com/za/en/products/oas/product-detail.html?oid=5286920
"Bluetooth connection: Replaces USB connection to save a valuable port. That’s great news for tablet and Ultrabook users starved for USB ports."

Here's their ad

Mine is wireless, I was a bit pissed off, but ended up giving it to the kids who now use it with the android media player in the one room

OK, so not just me then. In addition to being told it is bluetooth (just use the dongle provided), I was told I would have to return it at my own cost to get a refund once they've confirmed it's still working since they don't have any bluetooth mice in stock to replace it with. All in the same email. I kid you not.

That was my first and last order with them, I swear...

I also sent them a mail to ask wtf was up and they just told me they'll fix the site... which they clearly hadn't yet

Seriously???
Jeesh... This is why I use a google blacklist extension. They have been added. I am also writing a Bid or Buy extension to exclude sellers on a personal blacklist.

So update on this - I received feedback from RITS and they acknowledged their mistake and have updated their web ad. They have also offered to source a replacement Bluetooth mouse and do a swap at their expense.

IMO that's the difference between a good supplier and a bad one - not being perfect, but how you handle things when they go wrong. Could have saved themselves hassle if they'd sorted the issue out the first time round though.
