I want to go have what they rate as a 12
They have 3 exclusive hot smash burgers they have rated 8, 10 and 12 - the 12 has a cool red bun as well.
I don't really go to Bedfordview, or really eat burgers at the moment, but going to make a plan this weekend to try the 12:

anyone else think that piece of hanging bacon on the 12 looks like a mouse head....bad photo

I'll be surprised if it's any hotter than a habenero sauce.
South African sauces / restaurants usually fail at things hot.

Might be pretty hardcore, I've had the Chilli Cheese Bomb and it was too much especially the next day and I enjoy my hot stuff.

RocoMammas have served me the hottest wings I've ever eaten. I think they're properly calibrated when it comes to spicy food.

The mofo hot wings is my go to...the hot salsa chakalaka thing is the bomb.

No, I had one of their concoctions. It was half-cold when it arrived and the quality of the patty left much to be desired.

Their patties should be the same all over and generally they have good tasting meat. The half cold probably contributed to your overall negative experience. I have had that happen, I send the items back, I can't stand cold food, cold fries, the worst:sick:. I will not go to their Kyalami branch any more due to too many mishaps, but if you go to a smoothly running branch, your taste experience will be different.

Now their burgers are not say Capital Craft quality, but comparing apples to apples, they are way better than any other fast food.

Anyhow I will report back sometime this weekend re the hot #12.

I dont get it you are willing to go to bedfordview roccos branch to eat the hot burgers this weekend, but you are not signed up for the JHB meet up, that is in bedfordview, this weekend!

that being said, I am a big fan of rococos, never been dissapointed with any of the following branches:
Kempton Park
Irine mall
silverlakes
Brooklyn
Rivonia

I have eaten at all those branches more than once.
I am not too big into hot stuff (anymore), I normally have the Fetta cheese bombs wiht mofo mayo.

we normally have wings with BBQ and ranch dressing.
and also the crackerjack burger is amazing...

I was fairly certain it would be a righteous hot. That sauce they use on the chilli cheese bomb is delish and perfectly balanced. A little sweet and a nice warmth.

i had the one rated "8". i almost died.
Its alot of fresh chilli, whish was a bit rough.

Overall delicious, but felt it for 2 days after.
