EBucks is not for everyone, that all I can say... If you want them, then you’ll know how to get them. If you don’t want then then simply you don’t want them... it’s as easy as that....

Many people on this have appreciated on eBucks has changed the way they look at banking as a whole, and they’ve learned that make it worth their while... I’ve been on a nice vacation thanks to R8000.00 in eBucks. Bought nice gifts for me and my wife through eBucks... That’s why it’s not everyone, and you find people making fun of it and using stupid words like “Jumping through hoops” and all the others meanwhile other people make tidy eBucks month to month just for banking.

So, in short, it’s not everyone!!!!

It's probably not for me...

"In the month of March you spent R2979 on your cheque account. If you had used your credit card, you would have earned eB138"

Not worth the effort for R13.80, but thanks anyway FNB...

On rewards level 5 and using my credit card, for that total I would have earned R44.68 in ebucks.

That excludes any fuel or Checkers which earn 15% back.

I still wait for a Bank that will give me what I get in eBucks on a month to month... Not more, but what I get... Mind you, when it comes to banks, I’m not the loyal type... We just in a transactional relationship

Spot on.

Giving my wife a R6000 Poetry voucher last week for no reason makes for a happy home.

Thanks, not obvious at all that it's there.

I love being able to buy a gadget or clothes or pay accounts every month for free to the value of R3,160 a month.

:D

I do not understand. I'm on Gold and have done what's needed to get my max ebucks for what I spend every month.

There's probably more you could do. Are you on level 5? If not, get to level 5. Moving spend from cheque card to credit card can help, as can consenting to marketing, using the savings pocket, and a few other trivial actions.

Then read through this thread if you want to game the system. You can earn ebucks on cash withdrawals, paying bills that may currently be debit orders, and a host of other ways.

There’s also those sweet 40% off vouchers.

I'm on level 5, yes. And R13.80 can sure excite some peeps. :D

Level 5 only happened because someone here mentioned the calculator (November 2017). Thanks to everyone that contributed, even those that asked the same questions that have been answered many times before.

Bulk of my earn is Checkers followed by fuel, online and in-store. Ratio roughly 5:1:1:1.
