Forget best, we are “SA’s Bozza mobile network”

So MTN admit they are "NOT Best, NOT Super. NOT Top, NOT Amazing, NOT Uitstekend, NOT Unrivalled NOT Crème de le crème." - sounds about right.

urbandictionary

bozza
1. Former Australian goalkeeper and now Fox Sports commentator Mark Bosnich.
2. slang for bog, which is slang for taking a crap, which is slang for defecating.
Seems someone forgot to Google the meaning of bozza

From all the possible slang meaning you chose that one. :erm:

MTN should just stop charging for control plane data and the rest will fall in place.

Such a limp attempt at capturing more market share.

Come to think of it... Whenever I go back to my car at the shops, the car guards always call me 'Bozza'.

"Shap shap, Bozza."
"Everything's ok, Bozza."
[The car's] "Still there, Bozza."

Are these people calling me ****?

BOG

As far as google/urbandictionary is concerned their are are only two definitions - and number 2 seems to best describe MTN & there control data scam.

So much, then, for Google and Urbandictionary. The bigger wonder is that people take them as having a smidgeon of authority. Not everything is American.

Bozza, when I first see the word of tough of boss or baas. I like the word. Now it is Bozza versus Yebo.

When I see an unknown word (Bozza), I look up the definition and bog/crap/defecate comes up.

Whatever you say MTN doesn't change the impression that there are a bunch of bozos in charge at the yellow bellied beast.

Proves nothing about Google or Urbandictionary.
Try again Bozza.
:D I guess you don't get epistemological indeterminacy.

Do you really think one can prove anything on the internet, especially when using an advertising company's search engine? That's even doffer than the MTN people people who decided to use a Black Urban South African slang word in mainstream advertising, which is goofy and uncool.

Agree MTN is stupid - associating Bozza (bog/crap/defecate) with a marketing campaign.

What's the big deal? It's not exactly the first time a company has used (township or other) slang in an ad campaign.
