Is the point to format it and install windows?

Honestly though, what’s the user experience like for chrome OS? Surely you’re missing a ton of apps?

There's 2 million android apps and you can install linux via chroot. Not sure why you want to install windows that's in maintenance mode as MS fall back on the enterprise and cloud.

The Pixelbook isn't a primary computing device. For doing stuff on the go, it's perfect for many people (including me). I'm fully integrated into the Google ecosystem, so I'll hardly have to install any additional apps to be able to do what I need on the go. It's a real shame the thing is so damn expensive.

I am Google at this stage. I want all their devices it's brilliant.

Just got really pricy all a sudden. Google use to be affordable.

If you are in the GSuite ecosystem, then this is a no brainer.
Buuuut, 100% agree on your affordability point. Methinx someone is trying to plug the gap left by the Surface.

Yea, I think the price is what’s throwing me off. You get great hardware but seems like overkill for the devices purpose. That being said, phones are starting to cost the same.
