Good day All,

Please note that Aramex is having major issues for the past 2 months with phones being stolen on their side. It arrives somewhere between Overseas and SA and never arrives. It seems to be affected mainly by packages with the description of Mobile Phone.

If you do order, ensure you take insurance. Also, please ask the shipper/company to use another reference like "wireless communication device", or buy something else and use the other items description. Most companies overseas will update it without any major issue.

If you do have issues with no insurance, contact Paypal is they were used or contact your bank.

I did get this information from another friend so once I do get feedback, I will update here. It is unfortunate but they are reviewing the camera's and trying to find the people involved. I hope they hunt them down soon and they go to jail and this is not acceptable.

Yes, I could have phrased the above a bit better and I will do in the future. I have apologized for it and if Aramex does want to take this up with me, no problem.

So you have no idea whether this info is accurate or not, but you still go ahead and name a company specifically without knowing anything concrete.

I know this is accurate. Have phone call proof that Aramex is facing issues at the moment due to an increase number of cellphones coming into the company.

I specifically said that I got it from a friend due to the face that I am not dealing with this directly.

The point of this thread is to inform people of the issue, an alternative way to try not get involved in this issue and have headaches trying to resolve it.

There have been around 5-7 people who have contacted me about this issue and I rather have it out there. The good news is that it has been escalated at Aramex and they are working hard to resolve the issue. I am not trying to cause issues with the company and still currently use them as they are not bad.

Is that phone call FROM Aramex in an official capacity or from your friend? If its your friend, be aware that your post opens you up to defamation lawsuits.

No, you aren't trying to cause issues at all, except by publicly posting this crap with ZERO evidence or comment from Aramex itself.

Good day,

Since this information seems to be causing issues, please have this thread closed. I will open another one where I do not clearly show the companies name...

Too late, thread has been created and you did so without thinking.

Not exactly the best advertisement for your company, which I will avoid like the plague now.

Was trying to post information and was in no intention trying to cause issues with the company or get sued due to this information being given.

I was told about this and thus shared it here. The phone call was between a friend and Aramex but do not have any email proof expect the letter from them stating that the package is lost, has been declared lost and Aramex is not held liable.

If required, I can find the tracking numbers for the other packages lost (5-7 people) but cannot share it publicly as they belong to people and their information is there which I rather keep private.

No loss to me. I do not get paid by GearBest. I assist them in assisting people in SA. I have a right to give the truth and rather have people knowing about it before they get burnt.

Yes, I could have not put Aramex's name in the heading or mentioned their name, but this is not a GearBest based issues but a shipping issue that all companies that are using the service is facing.

Actually, it is not the truth, it is merely an accusation from you.

And if its not related to GearBest you should not have posted it on the offical rep account.

This does affect GearBest as they use Aramex to ship to SA and so do many other shipping companies. And since I try and help those people, I have seen the clients being affected. Since you really believe that it is an accusation, I will ask permission from all the affected clients whether I can share their information, I will do so here.

Those people are more then welcome to come and share their experience there.

I think you're missing the point. By your own admission you state that "the letter from them stating that the package is lost" however you alleged Aramex stole the package and the packages of 5-7 other people yet you have zero evidence of that and then extrapolate that to an accusation about them targeting packages with a reference with "Mobile Phone". Aramex I'm sure deliver millions of packages per year and there will be packages which are lost, misplaced or stolen from time to time however their liability is limited to their terms and conditions which is why you have the options of insurance.

It is an accusation, and a very bad one at that...
You are accusing Aramex of targeting specific types of packages and stealing them....

BTW, editing your original post does not help.... Your post has been quoted, and no I will not edit my post to remove your very bad accusation against the company with zero evidence to support your accusation.

I must say, all my recent Amazon orders was delivered through Aramex, no hassles. Pleased with the service, also how they sorted one customs holdup.

I see that it is quoted and know it cannot be removed. Removed the main first post anyway. I did mention that I have asked permission to post the information on here from the people that were affected by this issue so everybody keeps complaining about zero evidence yet I have the evidence but cannot disclose it directly into the public.

I did not directly state that Aramex is stealing the packages. I stated that somebody is targeting phones within their service.

"Please note that Aramex is having major issues for the past 2 months with phones being stolen on their side. It arrives somewhere between Overseas and SA and never arrives. It seems to be affected mainly by packages with the description of Mobile Phone. "

I stated that it is being stolen on their side (before deliver). And that it mainly affects packages with the one specific description. I will be more careful in the future on how I post.

It is a fight I did not want to cause and I will be more careful in the future. Please accept my sincere apologies as I did not want to accuse anybody but rather just share the information. I do not believe I have done anything wrong but some people do believe so.

Aramex, I did not want to accuse you but i seems that I have. Please accept my apologies for this.

For everybody who posted here, thank you for your feedback. I was only hoping to inform people of an issue that was brought to my attention.

You seem to not understand how this works...

Your bolded section is a direct accusation that Aramex (or their employees who are acting on behalf of Aramex) are targeting specific package and stealing them.

The fact that it is their employees and not the company actually doesn't really make any difference, your accusation names the company.

You do not seem to understand what I have said. I clearly state that is went missing somewhere between overseas and SA and never arrives. I did not at any point say that it was Aramex as a company stealing the phones but somebody within their loop and it is their responsibility to ensure it gets delivered and they seem to be facing issues which there is email proof of.

I will have proof here tomorrow and then you can stop accusing me of making fake information which you have been doing from the onset. I apologized for what I have said and I believe the people deserve to know what is going on yet you still come after me.

For everybody who believes this is good information, use it. If you do not, then good luck to you.

Does the email state the packages were stolen or did you conclude this yourself? If it is the latter then you should understand why you’re getting the response you are. You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts.

You aggressively pursue GearbestZA like he's the biggest dirtbag in the world, just because of his rant against Aramex?
Avoiding "his company" like the plague based on a rant against Aramex is both incomprehensible and infantile I'm sorry to say. :crylaugh:
