POP3 failed

Can someone help me to setup Outlook 2010 and 2016 they all fail.

See attached pic.

I did a fresh install win10 latest.

Get stuck with e-mail setup. It did work but no more after install. Using my old mail setting.

Unless something changed. Using Rain network,:D

Does rain not use their own smtp server? somebody said like afrihost or I have no clue. There was a thread about it
 
The strange one is Outlook 2010 complains about POP3 settings.

So Outlook 2016 complains about SMPT settings.

Now I'm lost.?

Got Outlook 2010 to work.

(Outlook 2016 still a problem) Anyone knows does 2016 open up complete. For me it ask all setup question.)

In outlook 2010 I can access account setings.
 
Outlook this is what I get, setup.
Ok this was the final screen for Outlook 2016 setup,

I did google: Ref given. Here I show Outlook 2016 is present If I double click I get screen below.
If Outlook was setup I would be able to add another Outlook account from here.

Ok I'm starting from beginning.

This where I need to setup Outlook 2016

Next step: It brings up next selection. I select pop account.

Next step: Fill in detail as per Afrihost setup.

On Afrihost site, it shows their POP3 server as 'mail.afrihost.co.za' not 'dslmail.afrihost.co.za', could it be that?

Also, you missed hidding an email of yours, second last shot

I'm using my old ADSL account. Outlook 2016 was working. Did a fresh install. Windows activated as well Office 2016.

Will give this a try.(mail.afrihost.co.za) Did not worked

Also need to say Outlook 2010 is working. Like 2016 better , blocking garbage mail is better.

Now Outlook 2010 also stopped working

Outlook connector need to be downloaded and be installed. Could not access account after this.
Did it manually, did not remove it self when I installed.
 
Hi all

Got outlook 2010 working again. Afrihost support personal told me to use on smpt port 587.

Also googled according to Google both packages need to be on same platform. (32Bit)

Let see if this works.
 
Ok did Outlook 32 bit install. Now this problem.

This rubbish does not install. That was last night problem also.
