Bitstamp to Altcoitrader.co.za

Hi Everyone,

Was hoping this will be informative to anyone that want to transfer ETH from Bitstamp to Altcointrader.co.za

I made a transfer of 11 ETH on Friday and it is still not reflecting on my account. I check it on https://etherscan.io and the transaction is reflecting under "internal transactions", from what I read bitstamp send ETH transfers as smartcontracts.

I sent a mail to Altcointrader.co.za, to my amazement I received a mail on Saturday saying that my account has been credited, I logged in but no ETH is reflecting :-( Mailed them again, no waiting again.

Previously I did not have a problem because the exchanges I sent from was not sending with smart contracts.

An another member on this forum said he did this before and AltcoinTrader.co.za credited his account manually when he sent from BitStamp.net

Will keep you updated on the progress. Be carefull when sending ETH becuase not all exchanges are compatible with each other it seems.

Did you check your balance at the top right corner of the first page or did you go into the "All balances" page?

Hi Nadir,

Yes I checked the "All Balances" page. ETH credit is not added.
 
Won't be using this useless bunch again until they can automatically assign coins into accounts. Doing it manually is monumentally dumb
 
I've sent from Luno to ATC, it took a while, but did reflect in my ETH wallet on ATC the next morning.
 
I don't want to jinx anything, but I have not had any problems with them yet.
Verification was quick, depositing XBT and XRP has been quick and this morning I withdrew some ZAR and it's already in my FNB account.

Hope you guys get sorted soon.

Hi Radorn,

yes up to now everything was also very smooth sailing for me, until I stepped into the ETH smart contracts withdraw issue. Watchout for this one if you play with ETH between exchanges.

On the other hand I have been waiting more than a month for Bitstamp verification... haha
 
My ETH is finally in 30 hours later after 8000+ confirmations on the block chain. But all is well, price is only 20% below where I could easily have sold :rolleyes: Until these clowns auto process deposits I won't be giving them another cent

Still no credit.....

Second response from them now but no credit...
