I'm the only one who has noticed that ugly cars are more reliable, the will never leave you stranded on the side of the road. I have two colleagues one drive nissian Micra and one Honda brio. I have never heard them complain about their cars.

While those driving VW always complain about overheating others complain about turbo etc.

Honda brio is not an ugly car but it's not a good looking car either

Yeah VW makes good looking car like the current Polo. Other colleague drive Renault Clio she is having problems with her car.

Honda Brio has ugly rear but I have driven it, it's a fun car to drive around town.

I used to own a Honda Brio 1.2 Hatch automatic and it is smooth to drive. The cars are made in India and value for money. My wife learnt driving in it and sold it after 3 years. Very Good resale Value. Except the boot space everything was good. But one knows about what the ca offers and then buys. so should not be an issue for those who are buying it for their purpose.

My friend your wife does not know how to drive, if she learned to drive using automatic. Teacher your wife to drive using a manual car, for 2-3 years then she can move to automatic. Or unless she is going to drive automatic for the rest of her life.

I also agree ugly cars are more reliable just like ugly men don't cheat. Ugly things are more reliable.

The Japanese culture results in superior products.

VW and Renault don't need to correct their flaws since they have blind followers.

Then Suzuki must make the ugliest cars in the world.;)

Never had an ugly car and never got stranded. Same for my family (I do 45000kms a year).

I guess proper maintenance is just not widespread enough in SA.

That is so true, that's why SA needs less overpriced mediocrity and more robust, built to last cars. My brother once owned the the Corolla I posted earlier, he was always broke and never had any time or the love to get his hands dirty, for more than 3 years that car was never serviced, no oil changes, no spark plugs, nothing, it never broke down.
