Hetzner not hiking prices with VAT

Maybe they should up their pricing so they can pay for a proper security expert. Even after their breach, they still haven't implemented even the most basic security checks. For example, their Konsole admin login - where you can control and change everything about your server - doesn't even have basic 2-factor authentication. Their complete lack of regard for security - even after the breach - is unnerving.
 
Not allowed. VAT will be 15% non-negotiable. The only lawful way to absorb this is by decreasing the price of their products.

Uhm,

“After weighing up this important issue, Hetzner has decided to absorb the increase in VAT and not pass it onto our customers,” it said.

“We don’t believe that the VAT increase is an adequate trigger for a price increase. There are a number of factors we do take into consideration when reviewing our pricing.”
