All users to be moved to new Gmail

Google has announced that the redesigned version of Gmail will be available to everyone in July as part of its general availability (GA) launch.

In April, Google unveiled a new design for Gmail, which features a more modern look, advanced security features, artificial intelligence, and more integrations with other G Suite apps.
 
Can be moved or forced to move?
I smell dropping support for iOS7 and my iPhone....
 
I've been using the new version for a while now and to be honest, it's very similar in appearance and functionality to the current one. You'd be hard pressed to notice any differences in fact. That's always good.
 
You will be automatically migrated in due course and no, iSheep will continue to be catered for.
 
Yeah the desktop interface isn't much of a change.
But I did notice that the Gmail app on Android stopped Syncing on multiple devices.
I had to remove the Google account and reload it on all of those devices to restore the syncing.
 
dont know, maybe its just me, but found the web interface a bit too big for my liking,

had to zoom a bit out, to make it look similar to what I had previously, to 90%

maybe its my screen size thats the issue, and its actually fine?
