May be I don't know how make it works, but I think it is not working with Prime.

I found another piece of software that allows you to alter the hard coded info on your modem. Its called Axesstel PST. Im at work so i cant post it now. Will post it when I get home.

@Ushir. Been using the pst evdo one for a while but havent been able to change any info on the modem. Think cause i got a "Client key" or its unregistered...

How do you alter your info?

armitage - i only jus found the software so i havent been able to test it cos im at work. As soon as i do i will post here. Ive sent you a PM in the meantime about some other software which I cannot post here.

Silversid, no problem. Are you on prime or flex?

I'm on NeoFlex 5GB, but I'm seriously thinking about upgrading to 10GB... for an extra R100 it's worth it, and I've been downloading like a demon! Now this software you've posted really gives me a complete snapshot of what is actually going on with my connection! So thanks again.

Ushir, can you send that PM to me also? I'd like to compare different softwares and see which is most informative to me. Thanks man

Thanks alot for the software:) Great to see more details and no more stupid message asking one to insert a valid RIUM:)

Does anyone know how we can dump the firmware of the modem? I trying to get the unlock codes so we can fiddle with the settings but need the firmware first...

I would advise against that ushir, you might be bordering on shores that are not legal as it were.

?? Why would it not be legal? I own the modem - im not copyrighting anything. All i want to do is to be able to have free access to my modem so i can change PRL (Preferred Routing List) - these are the towers we connect to. I can find the best tower and force it. I can also change MTU settings and many other things. As far as im aware i dont think there is anything illegal that can be done by unlocking the modem unless im missing something...

this is what I did to change the mtu on my neoprime device Im jsut coping and pasting it from my previous post.

MTU might be the problem

guys with vista try this open cmd in admin mode and type this in

netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "NeoConnect" mtu=1430 store=persistent

by default vista is set to max of 1500 so you need to set yours down to the correct lvl
after doing tests on fragment files I came to 1430 now I have no packet losses and the speed as increase by 10 %
for thoes with xp use dr tcp to set your mtu size

I noticed something quite interesting today when checking out my connection stats on evdopst. My DRC (Data Request Control - this is the speed at which my device is synced with the tower and the max possible speed), is at 2.4mbps, even though i have fantastic signal. Doing a speedtest, i actually achieved the 2.4mbps. Now my question is, why am i not syncing at 3.1 when im on neoflex?

I phoned the call center to ask, but like every other time ive phoned (4 times in the last month), their system is down. Curiously, when their systems are down my speed is fast. Lol.
