So... I went to the ladies night last night...

And, as expected, the whole club was full of men :mad: i at least got my hair done, and did some make up, and then went to dance. Now believe me, we were a bunch of pretty girls there, and i know men would stare, and it totally just ruined our evening. All the girls complained and said they felt like objects of desire... or what ever you can call it. The worst part... there was NO good looking men at all. the men that were there were like 30 - 60 years old, fat, and fugly. I will never go to a ladies night again. In future, we will go to someones house, and get professionals in and have the night to ourselves and get pampered.
 
I think the posters here gave your fair warning that this would happen ... at least you know for future purposes.

Go to a lesbian bar instead? I know girls that go to gay bars because guys dont get hit on there.

Obviously you wouldn't be complaining right now if it were good lookin guys staring at you objects of desire...

Blu - yeah, we were kinda expecting that there would be guys, but given that its a posh place, we thought at least the guys would be good looking - suprprise surprise lol! But, it was a nice evening all in all :) Oh, just a note to those 50 -60 year olds men with shaven heads (think it makes you look younger) - we DO NOT think you hot... go play chess or something.
 
Woman will always be objects of desire to men no matter where they go, they should just accept it, ignore it and enjoy their night with their lady friends.
 
Yeh, best to go to lez/gay bar. Although lesbians are more forward than straight guys.

clubs host ladies nights, cause they know the guys will come too.

Firstly, i dont need make up to look sexy, im a former Storm model, and am used to being looked at. Secondly, ladies night is precisely that - we knew there would be men - but we at least expected them to be something to look at. Not one guy there was worth looking at - and im not vein when saying that... if i wanted a guy staring at me whole time i would have stayed home with my bf and put on a show for him.
 
Remember, going to a Les bar means nothing, because the ladies might be able to sense you're straight and such, but I've heard from alot of friends that les girls like to 'convert' straight girls these days into at least TRYING something out.

Point is; you can't really avoid 'attention'

EG: I look at this girl and smile, she just looks away or makes a 'not impressed' face and looks away

Just ignore it... by not paying any attention, you solve the problem.
