Jhb man shot in his garden: Another murder?

Must be more to the story, could be a hit, drug dealer etc...

No I presume he did not, but by your comment and lack of comprehension of the question, you did not answer, I note as usually you only want to troll as you have no real feeling of compassion for these crimes and loss of life. Sicko :sick:

Mmm like all the other crimes committed in exactly the same fashion? Braais broken up, Man killed when walking his dog in his own garden, etc. Point is you want to be blind to these senseless crime and as usual play the ostrich game

I think his question is legit.

If one is thinking in line of a hit. That is why i would like to know who it is.
His wife was with him so whay aren't they releasing his name ?

There is more to this story for sure.

But like I said we'll have to wait and hear who it was first.

No one will just walk up to someone and shoot them and not steal anything unless their main objective is to kill the person for whatever reason. The wife must have seen them, they didnt chase her or kill her?

Theres much more to the story.

No. Ordinary citizens, like you and me, are killed in their homes and gardens every single day. Nothing to do with ethnic cleansing. Everything to do with criminals believing that they can get away with it. No more, no less.

Drug-related killings generally involve younger people, members of the gang culture. Of course, these gang killings are then used to show how bad killing of 'children' is. The fact that in some studies anyone under 21 is considered a child is never mentioned...

So it's not possible that they decided to back off once the wife had reached safety? Where she could call armed response, family members, neighbours for help? (no, I didn't mention police. they'd never be there in time.)

This just sounds to me like the guy noticed the attackers before they were ready, and then didn't manage to neutralise both in time. A botched, unplanned robbery.

Read the papers man, this happened a few times already since last year. They were all posted on this forum. Thats the point, the real crux of the matter, no motive neither reasons could be offered in any of these case. Its just crime, fun, a new national sport in South Africa? My take it is racially motivated and/or instigated.
 
What get's me about this is this.

When someone is killed they don't release a name till the next in Kin has been informed. The wife was there so they can release the name but their not. Now that gets one thinking in that direction of a hit.

Could be, he was drinking wine maybe he was drunk and abusive, to his wife or to them.

Fact is all that Law and Order and CSI is coming out!:D

You do realise that since no name was given, and no race, the man and his wife could well be black, white, coloured, indian or even chinese? Racial motivation won't stick to this until we know.

Yes I did notice. Have you at all realized racism extends from both sides? The point here is that the violence in crimes in South Africa is directly related to hatred or racism from all directions, Look at the farmer that just received a deserving 12 Years for assaulting and "murdering" (killing) a black boy. (Murdering used to be related to preplanned intend)

The race of the killers is also not known at this stage. Claims of racially motivated killings should wait until we know more details.
 
Man, the guy was a engineer and his wife screamed and the guys started shooting. Its the typical four or five black armed robbers going after a household (black or white).
