Can someone inform the ex-IS Local a/c users when the IS newserver comes back to life

I cancelled my 30G IS local only account after just 1 month, but am now wondering when (if at all) the IS newsserver will return to life.

I've read in other posts the comments/abuse regrets of the long time users whose days of good access and speeds have come to an end (co-inciding with the many new adsl users since Telkoms price reductions in August) - so lets leave that sort of replies out of this thread (if we can).

Well i'm selling drugs and asked the cops if they are going to raid... :rolleyes:

they said no, so I sleeping so much better. :rolleyes:

I left the server earlier this week... :(
 
jeez after this whole cyber cop thing im not using it anymore

dont wanna risk being caught the cops thats for sure
 
Yeah but wats the point of using the service if its "under investigation" as users have been mentioning? I mean why risk using the news servers, or is it just a bunch of hogwash

Of course it is a whole lot of hogwash - just a plan to make users scatter to free up bandwidth for those behind the ruse. And everyone was falling for it hook line and sinker. I even posted the most ridiculous drivel about "netcops", and to my amazement was taken seriously, at least before the hyperactive bwana closed the thread. Just think about it logically for a while in terms of the actual laws of the land, RiSA's terms of reference, ISP privacy policies, precedents in SA, what is civil and what is criminal, and you'll see the whole thing is an obvious ploy!
