Personally, I think that telkom will have a rough year this year. Most investors can see that telkom is not investing the money correctly and is falling to a technological decay. I suspect that this is because of LLU - why invest money into infrastructure that will be used by others? let it decay and then let them foot the bill for the new infrastructure.
If it weren't for telkoms monopoly being protected by DOC, telkom would have shut down years ago.
Basicly, that protection from DOC is the only reason to expect telkom to do well. Watch members and associates of the DOC and as soon as they start pulling out of telkom you'll know it's downfall has started.

And why should i help telkom come back? Should i want to be a shareholder in this corrupt regime? Sounds like 'if u cant beat them, join them' - not for me thanks...
I agree with this article - yes I disagree with some of Telkom's business practices, but if I can make money out of them, I certainly will. I call it Telkom's way of paying me back for their "screw me over" attitude.

Effectively you will be supporting them in their current form. You will be one of those people we all complain about... the shareholders. The reason Telkom is the way they are.
