Polokwane - Limpopo Premier Sello Moloto handed over 4x4 vehicles to 82 senior traditional leaders on Wednesday.

With a police force that is fighting to get cars and resources, I find this a complete waste of tax-payers money.

Why not invest the money in alternative energy - other than giving 4x4's to everyone.

At a conservative R500K per vehicle, that is 300 cars or R150 million.
Close to the Hospital bend upgrade, a 3rd of what we need to convert every traffic light in SA to solar, and each car could build 10 houses*.

But - a fancy car is more important.

Why traditional healers? Why not the GPs as well? Hell, why not just give a 4x4 to everybody? When will the useless, nay, mindless spending stop?

Haha u dealing with *fools* here!, its not about whats good for the country its all about winning votes and staying in power. Im sorry but you just cant cheat evolution and this is the result of a race 1000 years behind takes over!

i know man - i think we all feel and think the same things, but its prob just safer to keep it to ourselves... there is a big problem with previously disadvantaged people now being in power and abusing it. Unfortunately thats the sad truth and we cant do nething about it.

The problem with racist comments (other than it being immoral) is it gives the people debating you the moral high ground, and the opportunity to avoid your real argument, and concentrate only on your racism.

They spent 11 mill on the cars, that works out to around R134 000 each, they are probably 4 wheel drive bakkies, not X5s as you assume - (least they will not fall apart in the first week!). Yes it is wrong, but let's not over react again!
