I used to have my old job's user credentials to login and see which faults Telkom had logged and open and could see status updates as well..

Well it appears as though I have been locked out now...

How does one obtain details to login and have a look? I have tried my Do1 details and they don't work. The URL for the noticeboard is: http://www.noticeboard.saix.net/

Any help would be appreciated. Tnx

I just tried getting in with guest@telkomadsl and it wouldn't work. I see the acutual address has changed and is no longer a SAIX one but Telkom IPNET.

Maybe they got wise to people using it who were not supposed to.

Is there anyway we can access this now to see such info?

Maybe they got wise to people using it who were not supposed to.

That is bull though! They (Telkom) never tell us what is wrong, so why must they now go and stop us from being able to find out for our selves what is wrong. Do they want their call centres to have a record breaking 4 hour wait because you have to phone Telkom for even the smallest of issues that you would normally be able to look up on their website.

Anyway, that's my rant for the day, I'm off to have an awesome sunny Sunday now, its such a rad day in Cape Town today.

The authentication used to just not work at all btw, I figured that out when I typed my username in wrong and it still went through. You could actually type anything or just hit enter and it let you in. :D

So why should we not be able to see this anymore, and who is supposed to be able to see it?

I've tried again with the adsl details of our school's account. Simply won't go in.

Without being able to get in, I can no longer see what's going on and inform the school about any possible faults or downtime.

Wonder what made them decide to change. The noticeboard should have been public from the start anyway.

One more bump from myself. :p

Does anyone have any generic login details that can be used to access the site?

Otherwise it would be a great pity to lose the info on there, but oh well.
