Free, at a price

I used open office 1, it was terrible, but 2 really stuck with me. I have MS office at work though, mainly because it's a requirement to use the exchange server with outlook which is bundled with MS Office. Even then I don't use it. For my personal requirements, OO2 is more than enough for me.

I also think that people have a bad view on "open source" products, comes across as unfinished, buggy and hard to use because it looks different (for near illiterate users, the icons don't look like windows icons so they get confused).

I think the exchange server and outlook is how MS are getting companies/corporates locked in at the moment.:mad:
Let's be honest - how many users who say "must have MS Office" actually use more than 10% of it's capability??
