What is going on with the internet for the last 24hrs?

Since yesterday I havent been able to log on to Facebook. I now also cannot log on to www.trackitdown.net or www.beatport.com. I need the last two so I can get some new tracks to play tonight. It is not a local only issue I know for sure and others havent been able to log on to facebook.

Facebook just starts to load but never does. It just says tranferring data and stays that way for ages. The other two websites give me a page load error: The document contains no data - The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.

I am on Telkom ADSL with I-Junction as my ISP...
 
Im with telkom and facebook is fine for me (although a lil slow) that trackitdown gives me a 500 server error but the other is fine for me.

same here ... nvidia.com, facebook.com, autotrader.co.za ... all of em doing this loading thing, but never loads ... what gives
 
I've got the same issues -- facebook gets to the login page, but cannot go any further and lots of other pages won't load at all. Anyone have any ideas?
 
I cant log onto facebook, and therefore cant go into the app called 'owned'
so I have lost L$20 000 in owned money!
Can I claim this back from telkom? :p
 
Ah, but it's more fun. We can't get onto facebook, there's nothing else to do :(

Facebook and Beatport work for me on SAIX ADSL, the other site doesn't.
 
I'm using AXXESS (SAIX) prepaid and am having issues as well. Even my wifes 3G was giving me average pings of 1800 this morning - the max was 5000
 
I've been having issues since yesterday evening. Facebook, and MSDN at Microsoft. The pages won't load. I'm on ADSL with an Unshaped SAIX account through Imaginet.
 
Dontcha just love how we're kept informed on these little issues? Poor South African internet.
 
Spoke to Imaginet: They reported the issue to SAIX this morning and had to provide tracert's to prove there's a problem (as usual the half-wits at SAIX can't diagnose their own network worth a toss) and now they're waiting for a response. 24-hour turnaround to resolution since logging this morning, so they can only escalate the problem tomorrow morning...
