18200? That's nothing - are you going to get it repaired?
If you stay near the coast where the environment is humid (and corrosive), 18200 is a lot, especially for 3-4 year old camera.
Hope its not that bad - I've done close to 30k now on my original 400D and that's only about 18 months old iirc.If you stay near the coast where the environment is humid (and corrosive), 18200 is a lot, especially for 3-4 year old camera.
What is that is looks so cool!
A fire?
Now that I think of it, it was a pretty stupid question...
Its probably one time I would recommend using a UV filter. Can that do damage? Looks cool - I wanna try it![]()
Are you gonna see how much it will be to fix it?

I'm just going to get a new camera. I've been wanting to anyway.
1000d maybe?
400d?
or Nikon D40/D60 (would need Nikon lens)
It is for someone in SA40D maybe? It's not a heck of a lot more, and looks like it's only getting cheaper.
