Got a friend using the D300 and she loves it. Not sure she paid as much as 30k though...

Head some good things about B&H but maybe ask Bwana as he might know more.

Nah - not until after I've bought the replacement - I've had a mishap before and have no intention of being without a working camera if I can help it.
