Pioneer unveils 400GB Blu-ray disc

Pioneer has gone all storage crazy on us by coming up with a Blu-ray disc that is capable of holding 400GB of information.

This disc uses 16 layers to hold all the information at 25GB per stack, compared to the dual layer 50GB discs that we see in Blockbuster but never rent because the normal DVD is, well, cheaper.

ya.. now you have to decide between a ps3 and a 400gig blu ray disc :rolleyes:

That and the fact that most PC based readers on the market prolly can't read those without a FW upgrade of some sorts. Sickening...
 
Who cares?
Theres a disc that holds 3TB.

And honestly, this will be mainstream in 20 years
