‘SA could learn from Africa’

Absolutely pathetic! When you're falling behind the rest of Africa you must be doing something HORRIBLY wrong!

Lol, well, they rate Nigeria and Botswana is going to surpass South Africa's economy....

That being said we are not growing enough because our leaders are incompetant and stupid because our people are also incompetant and stupid.

We are just getting what we want, viva la ANC

... but our leaders are learning from Africa. Their prime examples are Somalia, Liberia, Zimbabwe, Uganda (under Idi Amin) and Libya.

whilst others like South Africa are inhibiting the development of new services using innovative technologies.

isn't that the sad truth hey :(

"Many African countries have identified the telecommunications and broadcasting sector as vital to economic growth and have adopted the international best practice of technology-neutral regulation, thereby attracting investment flows ahead of their neighbours," says Amanda Armstrong.

Now if only guavamunt had even half a mind between them, they'd see that people not lining their pockets with restrictive legislation and corruption are lining their pockets with actual business and open markets and thereby achieving the same goal they want to, which is to make money for themselves!

"South Africa could learn a lesson from some African countries that have liberalised their regulations," says Wendy Rahamim.

Markets drive trends" says Armstrong, "not governments. Governments need to allow the markets and technology to move forward." African countries can attract substantial foreign investment by introducing telecommunications and broadcasting legislation which is flexible and 'light touch'.

Everyone else gets it, why can't the SA guavamunt?
