AFAIK the ISP does not even have to know that you use WiMax. To them it is a 512k line.

You can use any ADSL ISP, WIMAX is basically last mile wireless ADSL. The only difference is that you don't have to use a router, you can go straight into your onboard lan and set up a PPPOE connection........
As for gaming, I use a shaped SAINET account and it works just fine. here are some pings.

ISP for Unshaped over WiMax
A friend of mine is getting WiMax and his current ISP (Vanilla) is unsure whether they can support WiMax so I'd like to know which ISP will be good for an online gamer over WiMax? IE an Unshapped account.

Hi I am clueless with all this teminology, re: connecting wirelessley?? i dont know which is the best way to go i.e. which service provider? what do I need? i have a desktop computer and a laptop, need to connect to both, and have mobile connection, when travelling?? HOW BlOnDe am I??
