I release everything under the creative commons or GPL licenses. I think putting an price on an idea and things like patents... are evil and bad for humans in the long term.. even if they do support a small group of people for the short term.

I thought we did not have software patents in SA??
This is one thing I don't like about Tertiary Institutions... I cannot design and develop a system of any kind whilst I am enrolled as a student.... otherwise they own 70% of it and may at their discretion and own will, buy me out...
