I would like to know how many sms's are sent per month at virgin mobile?
Vodacom is milking it with sms's.
I really thought virgin mobiles offering of unlimited free sms's would get the big players to follow suit. But with numbers like these, why would they?

I avoid SMS like the plague. If I absolutely HAVE to send one I will try and send it from Vodacom4Me Web page so I can use the free SMS allowance.
If people send me an SMS that demands a long answer, I just ignore it. Let them call me rather.
SMS is a rip-off... I'll start using them when the Service Providers start charging data rates for SMS.

I MMS by default because it costs the same as SMS.
If they are having so many people use data services why not drop the price so that even more will join in ? 5c per MB is a good start.

I am guilty as sin..i sms maybe to much, but its instant, its relatively quiet and a nice way of flirting with your woman across her parents dinner table
