This is very aggressive pricing indeed. Unlimited mobile Internet + Satnav for R 59.00 is certainly more attractive than most offers in the market today.

This sounds like a very interesting offer. The wife wants a red 8310 but with no contract, so this might be interesting in that regard. I will have to do the math though.
don't think you can do that.
Stupid thing with this prepaid blackberry thing is, if you dont renew the blackberry before the end of the 30 days then your settings aka service books gets deleted then you have to set it up all over again.

Why can't Vodacom also provide similar unlimited internet service for PPC phones?

You can absolutely do that, just not with the unlimited service. It's great that Vodacom are offering this though.

i have the blackberry curve 8310 Vodafone RED.
Satnav rocks, e-mail rocks, browsing rocks.
They have to give you an unlimited solution because a blackberry is useless without network. It needs gprs to always be ON. The blackberries we have now are all GPRS, no thirdGen networks yet.
