So in conjunction with the GARMIN XT thread wanted to give you the opportunity to "test" the TOMTOM software on your Diamond.

Download here for TomTom Navigator 7.450 (9028) for Windows Mobile. Please also see the "HOW TO" guide in the middle of the page.

Download here for the Southern Africa maps (730) ZIP file is "gorilla"

The *.meta code can be found here

Will be testing it for a month and then make my decision whether to buy the GARMIN or the TOMTOM.

I have installed it last night and it looks good so far.
Very quick to find signal.

That map version will only work on Navigator7 which is only available for Windows Mobile.

Some people have stated that it works ok with their Nokia N95s.

I know Navigator 6 worked only with WM, surely Navigator 7 would work with Symbian (Nokia)?

I googled around and it seems V7 is out on Symbian also. Will have to see if I can get a torrent for it when I get home.

Link says "no results found".

As far as I am aware, only Tomtom version 6 and version 6 maps will work on Symbian. They have not released a symbian version of ver. 7.

Please correct me if I am wrong

^^^ What iDenTiTy said. :)

The guy that helped me on the IPMART forums has got an HTC HD. So yes it does work.

Has anyone else here got the "Wrong Device ID Symbols" error on there Command Prompt when trying to run the keygen??

Help please :-)

Hi guys does anybody have a link to the South Africa maps for TomTom Navigator 7? The link in this thread doesn't work. Thanks
