Its kind of funny that people who are CONVINCED that there was NO conspiracy about 911 or 'the war on terror' or anything else, suddenly catch a bit of a wake up when conspiracy happens close to home.

There's that old saying - which you have to do when anything happens in politics:
ask yourself "Who benefits."

And there's your answer.

Of course Mugabe almost certainly did. And if he didn't do it - then an intelligence service who felt it wasn't useful to have the guy alive, did it.

And that list probably includes South Africa. If not CIA as well. (The Americans don't want sub Saharan Africa to become stable - that should be patently obvious to anyone with a brain cell. Their technique has always been to feed the starving hordes food aid, and make sure that all sides in potential conflicts become well armed so that chaos and instability is the norm.)

I bet most of you couldn't even name the US military command which oversees Africa?

So its either Mugabe, CIA (and covert US action) or ANC, given that its increasingly embarrassing for the ANC to have Tsvangirai alive and kicking. And because Morgan's alive, he's probably going to outlive Mugabe - which means there's a leader next door who knows full well how little the ANC helped...

You did notice how even the people from his own party said "it's too early to tell" ... those are smart people. Smart people don't jump to conclusions. Smart people don't let their nightmares creep into their daily lives.

I'm not saying it wasn't ... just saying... don't jump the gun. Let the cops and forensics and MDC investigators do their things.

We have nothing to fear, but fear itself.
 
Look i am all for theories but i would like to see what his version of the events is before i think anything.

Let's just say if mugabe did attemp to kill him he is going to be pretty pissed off considering he lost his wife of 33 years.
 
We are not yet even into investigations. And no, CNN said themself that they are not sure if this was put to plot directly by mugabe.

You come across as everyone is denying this was politisized, however this only happaned a few hours ago and we are still waiting for some proper info.
This may well be a political assassination attempt but it is still too early and lets not link it to some tinfoil theories which you mentioned.

how the hell does south africa benefit from this? The implosion of zim's into SA has caused the government alot of problems, such as the xenophbic attacks last year.

It's interesting that a truck collided with MTs SUV. It's been speculated that in such an accident the driver of the truck would be relatively safe from serious injury.
