No, there is nothing new about this article. Like Etv movies, its just a repeat. They neglected to say that this requirement is only for subscription services. WAP services and premium MO services are not covered by this as each content item is on request.

Also helps that not all players in the industry are WASPA members, thats the part they won't tell you. Nothing stopping operator X from jumping between WASP members.

Reality is its not law - its a self governed industry thats been around for a couple of years. Make no mistake, they are a good and important influence and without them the industry would be a free for all.
