no but seriously how can such a worthless app deserve an article? I mean sure, Elvis might be an "american treasure" but fck so is marha steward, ridiculous that this should appear as an article on a site about "south african IT"...

What's wrong with being impressed with a "tv remote, dishwasher and electric stove"? They're all examples of modern technology which have made people's lives easier/more enjoyable, and the fact that you can buy them fairly cheaply has been made through sizable advances in technology.

It's not all about landing men on the moon. We do that in part so that the advances made can trickle down to stuff we actually use on a daily basis.

(Edit: yes, it's a bad bad article, and utterly unnewsworthy)
