260vac vs 260 watts

What is VAC and is it the same as watts.

Like I have a 260 VAC PSU but on my box my case came in, it says 360 watts?:confused:

Are you 100% sure about the VAC value, since it seems a bit high. Power supplies are usually rated anything between 220-250VAC. Don't think that any electricity suppliers output 260V. The PSU is a 360W model, as labelled on the box.

You should measure household electricity sometimes...

You'll find variations from 180VAC to 260VAC easily.

It differs around the country as well. If I recall correctly you guys in PTA have the highest voltage in the country or it was the case years ago.

So my psu is still 360watt?
