Do your research he has funded Tesla cars, not started it!!!

"In between challenging Nasa with more modern, cheaper rockets, Elon also started Tesla cars, which is making news with its electric and zooty sports cars."

The criticism choir doesn't seem to miss a beat on this forum these days. Don't like the article? Go read your news somewhere else. Had to read the opening paragraph twice? How awful for you. I feel your pain, but it's not worth a post, really.
I'm sick of people whining about articles they get to read for free here.

I think "whining" is an essential part of a robust press. And if I were a journalist, I would want as much "whining" from my readers as possible. As a coder, my employers/customers are constantly "whining" and, lo!, better software results.

I have to agree with you. The first paragraph thing just has to be fixed. It's not like it's that hard to fix.

good article, and quite insightful didn't know we had such big players out there on the webosphere.. and guess the guys that didn't like the article are the ones thats probably just jealous because they aren't the okes mentioned in the article.
I found the article rather inspiring, giving me hope for a venture I'm contemplating :)

A South African dude thought of PayPal?!

Wow.

And yes, please, I get a mental stutter every time I have to read the opening paragraph twice.

I hate people who complain about people complaining

The double paragraph thing used to bother me, but I don't even notice it any more.

The double paragraph thing doesn't bother me but it is a waste of pixels, and like Mercurious said, its easy to fix.

“We’ve got good coding (programming) skills, but South Africa sucks at project management skills, and user development skills,” Vinny adds.

Now why is that? Is it because the majority of our country is lazy and would rather pursue being a manager then to try and actually do something useful?

Its so true ... I have so many ideas that pass through my head, but lack the funds to hire a coder and don't have any developer friends so they end up getting squashed. If I had a developer ... for example ... Digital Addiction would have been so much more than an online shop ... even now, there is so much I want to do ... but need it all manually coded which is big bucks
