Greetings,
We are writing to inform you that, unfortunately, we have had to temporarily suspend your World of Warcraft account and place a final warning on it.
Account Name: ****************
Type of Violation: Involvement in online trading activities Investigation Concluded: 18/08/2009 Consequences for Account: Account suspended for 72 hours, Password Reset and Final Warning issued.
It is with regret that we take this type of action, but it is in the best interests of the World of Warcraft community as a whole, and for the integrity of the game. After your suspension has expired, you will be able to access the World of Warcraft servers again.
Please note that should any further violations of our Rules and Policies occur, this will almost certainly lead to the permanent closure of your account.
Online trading refers to the exchange of in-game content for real world money, and includes, but is not limited to, the sale or purchase of gold, the sale or purchase of experience in the form of powerlevelling, and the sale or purchase of honor points, reputation or items.
couple of reasons for such a e-mailyour account got low level hacked by a key logger and they use it to farm/sell gold. You bought power levelin battleground/badge farming and loged on while they where busy and got flaged for 2 ip's thousants of km apart in a couple seconds. Blizzard doesnt like them proxy you use cos you server hop like the gold sellers we love so much

isankey said:You do have to wonder just how an investigation is concluded when the person accused of the infraction isn't contacted in any way to ask for an explanation as to suspicious or innapropriate behaviour.
You know, just a simple "Were you online at such and such a time, and if not who else might have access to your account that you know of? And if you were, given you acknowledge the terms & conditions of use, what the hell were you thinking when you did xyz?"
Just BAM, your account is summarily suspended or closed with only a very vague explanation provided.
Esea said:if your new account is temp banned I'd check my pc for spywear and keylogger and I'd stop visiting dodgy sites if I where you...
Pitbull said:Form the e-mail above it's clear it's not the first time they have suspended your account
Blizzard will not ban an account without proof of such activities. I have had my account for almost 4 years now and never did anything remotely wrong. Not even Ninja loot . I only receive news letter from blizzard and nothing else. I take pity on those people buying/selling gold.
Just keep to the T&C and you should be problem free 100% of the time.
There is no way they will lift the suspension within 72 hours, just take a few days break from WoW, nothing else you can do.

Sparhawk said:You could also have pissed someone off in some way and they reported you for suspected botting or trading etc. Happened to me a while back when I was reported as a fishing bot. When the truth was that i was at the computer fishing for like 3 hours straight while watching "How I met your mother". I got a 72 hour suspension other than that no other bans etc.
And how exactly do you see that? Since this account isnt even 3months old. This is the 1st time in my life I get a account suspention in playing wow from the old vanilla days. I have not even gotten a wow forum ban ffs...
Easy.Anyone have like a useful means of contacting blizzard that will not cost a fortune. My account was suspended and like always no proper reason. Would like too know why.
Thanks

1. Sign up for free skype account
2. Download free skype client
3. Call the tollfree wow support line (its on their site) totally free
ps. I hope you have a good headset and some bandwidth to spare for listening to teir music while you are on hold.
Best about this approach, you are at your pc and should have all stuff next to you that you need for the call.
