Less support for Mobile WiMAX

WiMAX = too litle, too late (maybe only for backhaul). If you don't make billions of radios the price will stay too high for consumers...
 
Find this very interesting, as Intel appears to have made heavy investments in providing Wimax capabilities in its notebook chipsets. Just goes to show that in order for a particular technology to take off, a whole host of providers need to be on board.

Currently using fixed Wimax, and I am generally satisfied with the service. Really thought that this type of technology would take off, particulary with the ampount of cable / copper theft we have in this country. :)
