Social networking warning

The German government warned job-seekers on Friday to avoid posting potentially compromising pictures or remarks on social networking sites such as Facebook, citing a study about their use by employers.
 
Rushing of to restrict my profile.....

Only my friends needs to see it anyway :p
 
Even with a private profile, there's the problem of excluding your employer/co-workers as friends, and the chance that they could still dig up dirt about you from what your "friends" have on their profile pages.

I just stay away from it altogether.
