MTN commits to reduce MTR costs

thats what i don't get ... y have closed door meetings for companies that are supposedly public companies i.e. they are listed on the JSE and should provide full details of their cost to their shareholders. So y a closed door meeting ... what r they hiding from their shareholders??

The closed door meeting is necessary because operators want to hide their cost structures from each other, not from ICASA or parliament. It is quite normal for companies to want to do this. Not something that has to be viewed with undue suspicion.

Everything telecoms operators do must viewed with total suspicion.
