The Pirate Bay must remove torrents

This is a pointless request on the Court's part, seeing that the entire Pirate bay site has already been downloaded (yes, every single Tracker file) and is now mirrorred on countless other Torrent Sites.

Epic FAIL.

There isn't anything wrong with torrents. The principle is sound. What they can object to is sharing copyright material.

I see tpb was down yesterday.

This site may as well be renamed to myPirateNews.co.za....

Yeah.. but have you ever thought of opening.. isellmymomforprofit.com? Then you and the other 4 people in the world that think like you can get together and discuss how much better you are than anyone else.

I'm pretty sure he'll get more than 4 people on that site ;)

they can take it down and something very similar will pop up a day later

Meh, Pirate bay is losing a little bit of ground everyday - cant fight the machine forever, this is perhaps why the owners jumped ship (har har)?

Makes me wonder how many millions has been pored into trying to take pirate bay down over the years?

Pointless, they will just be forced underground, again!

They should move to Somalia or learn from those pirates. Hardly anything happens to them and they are making money by the MB's:rolleyes:

The court also concluded that The Pirate Bay is not directly guilty of copyright infringement, but it does assist in infringement by facilitating the sharing of torrents.

Isn't that kinda like saying the state is responsible for facilitating hijackings and all crimes where criminals use roads because it built and maintains the said road???
