Will this model still be viable once interconnect rates are lowered and LCR is no longer profitable?
 
How is this independent of Telkom, if you still need to rent a Telkom line?

afaik its VOIP directly from over the DSL to some kind of exit point. So youre using telkoms data but not their voice switching costs.

well, you can understand why they aren't in favour of interconnect rates coming down. just not sure exactly what opening the market up means then? is this not a contradictory statement?

Maybe if the market opened up they would be able to set themselves up as an alternate telkom?
 
my question is: how does the market open up if you don't advocate the lowering of interconnect?
