you get the idea.

oh well, thank god im only stuck at work for another 3 hours or so. Maybe i could get some actual work done

@work, cannot test now.

...maybe it's packetloss' fault ;)

How many times have I had to resort to my mobile 3G connection this month? I haven't kept count. I am paying Iburst for a service but having to pay again for it elsewhere. What chance Iburst gives me a refund?
I STILL cannot determine what package I might have been migrated to or what data I have used so far. Seldom can log onto Iburst domain and if I can then cannot access data usage figures.

It seems this is a vodacom issue, vodacom 3G is also soooo slow this morning

I also been experiencing abit of jump in latency and packet loss issues through MTN Businness last 2 days. Gcebile , I have sent you tracert which your network guys can escalate this with MTN Business please :)

Browsing Degradationon:iBurst Wireless customers will experience delays in opening websites and some website will not open at all.

Good responce time to the incident Gcebile, hopefully your engineers fix the problem just as quick.

no, its international only.

also its not only websites.

It's SSH too.

Could you also check my PM to you about MTNBusiness please.

Well I just got a "you're capped" page ... but I definitely shouldn't be ... so no network degradation, but their migration broke and now we're all capped ... or so it seems

yay fixed. i can get back to my midget-goat porn

'Retardedly slow' describes it perfectly. :-)

I wonder how much business we've lost in recent days, because of problems (slow connections, not receiving emails, etc.) experienced with iBurst's network. Logic tells me that there must be some form of compensation for this. I can understand if you've migrated and the problems that come with it, but now you are placing our businesses at risk as well. I feel we should be compensated for this, because we're paying to have fast and reliable Internet Access which is currently not the case.

I once had a successful plumbing business I had to close down because of trouble with Cell C's network. I received voice messages left by clients more than 2 weeks late! By the time I realised this the damage was already done.

I still cant log in on the Absa Internet banking website. It will hang and time out when I need to enter the password

Hi Gcebile

Could you guys at least update the iBurst website to indicate this?

The Incident Report page as well as the Network Status page don't indicate this.

My first stop when experiencing issues, and probably most other people's as well, is to check the iBurst website for reported issues.

Jannie, Shaun - c'mon. This is an exteremely obvious area for improvement. You can't expect all the iBurst users in RSA, or even the myBB forumites, to depend on the myBB forum for network incident/degradation/downtime reports.
