MW2 and steam acting up

Was it just me or did the rest of you experienced alot of disconnections and failed to migrate other players ....... ect ect these past few days.

It was a given that you fail at least once or twice then when all reconnected it was a different map and the same players were there, so I am guessing it was not just me.


Maybe steam was overloaded with all the xmas gifts people got :o
 
10 minuts to find a game and then it bombs out after 5 minuts & playing the same 2 maps over and over and over and over and over
 
Ya I was actually gonna post about this exact same topic. I noticed it ALOT. Irritates the pooh out of me :/ I also noticed that I can't join a party. When I get the invite, it just says unable to connect to host.

This is a result of no dedicated servers :(((
 
Trying to play MW2 online is actually a pretty stressful experience... I thought I bought these things to relax.
 
I must say it was a smooth ride from release untill now.

I am guessing the patch they tried out this past week did not work that lekker.
 
Yeah had the same problems.... plus terrible lag, got my butt whipped! Wot all u're aliases in MW2? Mine is something like {*I~R~G*}> ... i think...

I still had a blast tho.... frikkin a+ multiplayer! Been using iBurst to connect, but i'm in a terrible reception area :( so that sucks. My ADSL line was supposed to be installed on the 28th Dec, they came, but there is a line fault... now more waiting....

COD4 MW then COD5 WAW then COD6 MW2 which is running via the steam client, if the others were on PS2 - possible... but i dont think MW2

@SharkBait, had lots of those errors yesterday.... but they came right...

I also struggled the past three days or so. Bloody frustrating, eventually we setup a party of about 3 or 4 guys, that seemed to help a bit.
 
I also had troubles this weekend, but luckily I got a few invites from mates and I got into a few games :)
 
LOL... And there I was sitting in a lobby with 7 players for like 10 minutes!!! :) ;)
 
IRG, not all the time, but once or twice it felt like ages trying to get in and continue the fragging!
