Eskom price hike public hearings

Public hearings on state-owned power utility Eskom's application for a tariff hike will take place later in January, the National Energy Regulator of SA (Nersa) confirmed on Monday.
 
I hope there is a LOT of protests at the hearings.

Then again, Eskom will just re-introduce "load shedding" to put all of us in our place.... :cry:
 
I rate they should take the cash out of the top managements pay and bonuses
 
Eskom is going to be the end of the middle class. Who can afford a 35% increase per anum for a three year period ?? :wtf:

During December my bill basically tripled (they always spike the rates during the last month) :mad:
