Nolo Letele is CEO MultiChoice Group South Africa
Nolo Letele joined M-Net in 1990 and has held a number of senior positions within the MIH group. Prior to that he was a broadcasting engineer at the Lesotho National Broadcasting Service. Currently he is CEO of MultiChoice Group South Africa.
In 2001 he received the Media Person of the Year award from the Saturday Star and Business Report, and the Financial Mail AdFocus named him Media Owner of the Year two years later. Letele is widely credited with the introduction of interactive TV and the dual-view decoder to the DStv platform. Before being appointed CEO, Letele was involved with MultiChoice as regional GM responsible for West and Central Africa, and was based in Ghana.
He has an honours degree in electronics (University of Southampton, UK) and is a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of the UK. A married father of two sons, he enjoys golf and reading for relaxation.
